Robert Bagby, owner of R & B Installation in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is hired to tear up and replace a resilient flooring installation in an assisted living facility where the previous installer did not prep the subfloor properly and used too much glue on the gluedown LVT. Bagby and his team were called in to replace the flooring and complete the project as quickly as possible at the request of the facility. However, issues began to surface once again. Not allowed to use heavy equipment, due to noise, he and his team were required to utilize only hand tools and work as quickly as possible with the residents in the space. Here, Robert elaborates on the project and shares his advice on how to deal with these situations going forward.
