Embrace Change and Drive Excellence at Tape Week 2024
With the theme, "Adapting to Change, Optimizing for Excellence," Tape Week 2024 will give attendees the information they need to navigate the latest industry challenges.
As our industry rapidly evolves, I look forward to charting a course forward together at Tape Week 2024. Themed "Adapting to Change, Optimizing for Excellence," this year’s Tape Week will help pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) tape professionals navigate the latest challenges we’re facing. Whether your focus is technical, market-driven, environmental, or otherwise, PSTC has been working hard this past year to bring you the information you need to stay ahead.
Our keynote speaker, Bundy Group Director of Analytics and Consulting Alex Chausovsky, will offer crucial insight into the current economic and labor market. Titled “A Shift in Momentum,” his keynote will not only specify what recent market changes mean for PSTC members, but also offer concrete advice on how to incorporate this information into high-level strategic planning.
Following the keynote, PSTC members attending the Executive Forum (formerly the Spring Member Meeting) will be able to discuss what they learned in an Executive Round Table Discussion led by keynote speaker Alex Chausovksy. This is an opportunity for leaders at PSTC member companies to process the implications of Chausovsky's data and insights for their businesses both now and in the future. We are also adding a new members-only reception to the Executive Forum for additional networking time.
PSTC continues to build as much flexibility as possible into its registration options, so attendees can choose the experience that will bring them the most value. Technical professionals can delve into the science of PSA tape with our Technical Track. Innovators looking for new and creative PSA tape applications can see what’s on the horizon in our Markets & Application Track. Our newest track, ESG: Contributing to Sustainability, showcases how sustainable PSA tape solutions are driving ESG initiatives. Registration can be done “a la carte” where you pick one or two tracks, or if you want to attend all of them, I recommend the All Track Pass. You can learn more about registration options here.
Tape Academy is back this year, so those looking for more intensive training can learn from our esteemed faculty in a casual atmosphere that promotes information exchange. These experienced leaders are active at PSTC member companies and demonstrate the specific skills needed to excel in the industry. We will once again offer the Manufacturing and Testing Course, which teaches the fundamentals of how tape manufacturing works, and Adhesives & Advanced Technologies, which takes a deep dive into polymer and adhesion science. While Fundamentals of PSA Tape is not being offered in person this year, it has been recently converted into a virtual classroom setting.
As always, Tape Week offers plenty of networking opportunities — attendees won’t want to miss The Showcase, featuring tabletop exhibits highlighting the latest advancements in PSA tape. Exhibitors can also take advantage of a complimentary poster display to illustrate a new technology, product, or best practice.
With such a comprehensive lineup of speakers, courses, and networking opportunities, Tape Week 2024 promises to deliver meaningful insights and connections that will make real impact both day-to-day and in planning for the future. Whatever your role or membership status, if you have an interest in PSA tape I hope to see you there.
