Twinings expanded its wellness offerings to feature two new tropical flavored Cold Water Infusions: Probiotics+ and Immune Support. Like all of Drink Monday’s offerings, Monday Mezcal is made by hand in small batches from natural ingredients at a craft distillery in Southern California, the company says. Connecticut couple Martha Outlaw and Matt Ellenthal introduced Barrelsmith, a new line of premium ready-to-pour bottled classic cocktails in three varieties: Negroni, Manhattan and Boulevardier. Barrelsmith cocktails are blended in small batches and then aged in 53 gallon oak barrels until finished, the company says. Martha Outlaw’s liqueur is named after founder Martha and the Rosso Vermouth is made in house using California wine, it adds. At 30% ABV, the Barrelsmith Negroni is made with London Dry Gin, Rosso Vermouth and Martha Outlaw’s liqueur, while the Boulevardier is made with straight bourbon whiskey, Rosso Vermouth and Martha Outlaw’s liqueur. The Barrelsmith Manhattan (35% ABV) is a blend of straight rye whiskey, Rosso Vermouth and a touch of Barrelsmith’s own house made orange bitters, it says. Packaged in 750-ml bottles, the cocktails are available to purchase for a suggested retail price of $38, as well as a variety pack of three 100-ml bottles for a suggested retail price of $25. Jefferson’s Ocean Aged at Sea Rye
Jefferson’s Bourbon, a brand of Pernod Ricard USA, announced the launch of its latest expression: Ocean Aged at Sea Rye. The newest addition to the popular Jefferson’s Ocean family, marks Jefferson’s inaugural exploration at sea with rye whiskey, it says. The liquid is a fully mature rye whiskey that was double-barreled (75% in char 3 barrels and 25% in toasted barrels). It was then placed on ships and traveled through ports around the world as part of the unique finishing technique for which the Ocean series is known, the company says. Jefferson’s Ocean Aged at Sea Rye is a rye balanced by caramelization that comes specifically from the sea-aging process, it notes. The combination of the new char 3 barrels and new toasted barrels adds a flavorful depth of marshmallow and toffee on the nose and palate with rich notes of leather and tobacco and a long finish of baking spices that are kissed with a touch of sea salt, it adds. The Wine Group announced the launch of Lemonade Stand at Main & Vine, a new line of wines blended with natural flavors of freshly squeezed lemonade and ripe sun-kissed fruit, it says. Lemonade Stand at Main & Vine wines are low in alcohol at 6.5% ABV and contain only 90 calories in each 5-ounce serving, as well as vegan friendly and gluten free, it adds.
