RadTech, the Association for UV&EB Technology, is hosting the 2025 RadTech UV&EB Technology & Conference from May 18-21 in Detroit. This is the world’s largest event dedicated to the educational, technical and scientific advancement of ultraviolet (UV) and electron beam (EB) technologies. Typically, this event takes place every other year, however it saw so much success and interest in 2024 that the association decided to host again in 2025. It will revert back to its biennial schedule after this year, and will take place on the off years of the American Coatings Show.

RadTech’s mission is to promote the use and development of UV and EB processing as an industrial technique offering energy savings, elimination of pollution, greater productivity, higher yields and the opportunity for improved, new or unique products. The event serves as an international forum for education and information for organizations involved in the use of UV and EB processing or who supply equipment, chemicals or other materials to such users. It also helps to develop and disseminate procedures and data on safe equipment operation and materials handling, testing and quality control.

The event will include short courses, three days of conference sessions, and an exhibit hall featuring both company booths and a dedicated area for various panel discussions. Discussion topics include Water-Based UV Coatings: Exploring the Future of Sustainable Finishing, EB+UV for Coil Coating, UV+EB-Curable Coatings for Automotive Applications, How to Successfully Design, Implement and Maintain Your UV Process, and more.

PCI will be exhibiting at Booth 616. Be sure to stop by to learn about our upcoming issues, podcasts, short courses and our September event, the Coatings Trends & Technologies Summit. And learn more below about what Siltech will be exhibiting at Booth 323.

Do Regulatory Pressures Have You Thinking About Replacing PFAS in Your Formulation?

Silicone-based compounds reduce surface tension to 20 mN/m, provide water/glass contact angles of 115° and, based on new data we have, can provide oil repellency. Based on these properties, silicone compounds are a natural fit in many PFAS uses.
