Title: Senior Business Development Manager

How long have you been in the PHCP-PVF industry?

22 years. I have been in the industry since 2003; starting as a helper for a Mechanical Contractor out of New Orleans. I then worked for a Plumbing/HVAC distributor, then went to work for a Manufacturers rep agency, and now I’m on the Manufacturing side with SPEAKMAN.

What drew you into the industry?

My father worked for a mechanical contractor, my brother works for a mechanical contractor, my uncle is the principal of a manufacturer’s rep agency. I guess you could say I didn’t really have a choice.

What is the most rewarding aspect of working in the industry?

Working in this industry gives me the opportunity to learn from and grow with individuals from different generations, backgrounds, and perspectives on business and life. It allows for creativity and innovation and enhances problem-solving skills.

What motivates you every day?

My Family! My two boys Henry and Jack and my lovely, incredibly talented, hard-working wife Stephanie. If it wasn’t for her, I might still be in the warehouse of a wholesale distributor.

What is one thing you wish more people knew/understood about the PHCP-PVF industry?

There is a position or opportunity for everyone from all walks of life. This industry is so multi-faceted that anyone with some motivation and grit and a great work ethic can excel and create their own opportunities for a rewarding career.

What has been your proudest moment in your career so far?

This is tough to pick one moment. My son, who is 6, being able to walk into a bathroom and instantly determines if the shower is SPEAKMAN is up there on the list. Another would be when I joined the manufacturing side of the industry, capping off stops at each step of the distribution channel; as well as having worked in the field.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

I’ll give you 2.

I love to cook, and I am an ordained minister who performed the marriage ceremonies for both my sister-in-law, and then for my father-in-law.
