Wall-hung boiler
The new FT Series light commercial boilers are available in 301 and 399 MBH sizes. Featuring stainless steel firetube heat exchangers, the boilers operate with up to 10:1 turndown, can be used with natural gas or propane fuel, and run at an ultra-high 95%+ thermal efficiency. Each FT Series unit is equipped with onboard high- and low-temperature zone control, DHW Smart Priority functionality that allows simultaneous space and domestic water heating, BMS compatibility and can cascade up to four units. Additionally, a sensor actively monitors incoming air for cross-contamination from exhaust flue gases. This unique feature issues an alert when cross-contamination is present, indicating that the vent system should be evaluated to help keep the boiler running trouble-free. The units can be wall-hung or floor-mounted with optional stand package. Top and bottom gas and water connections and venting up to 150 equivalent feet offer increased installation flexibility.

Floor-mount fire tube combi-boiler
The NOBLE Floor Mount Fire Tube Combi-Boiler brings to market an option for contractors and homeowners with models ranging from 110,000 to 199,000 BTU/h. The floor mount provides customers with a new configuration of a Lochinvar NOBLE combi-boiler for more installation flexibility. Water connection and venting and gas connection on the top of the unit adds application flexibility. Additionally, the unit’s universal vent connector allows for a variety of connections directly to the appliance flue without adapters. The new model has a smaller footprint than most floor-mount boilers, simplifying installation and service, especially in homes with smaller mechanical rooms, the company says. It also features Lochinvar’s SMART CONTROL platform — a control interface that provides an easy-to-use Setup Wizard and presents setup, system status and diagnostic information in words, not codes.

Hybrid VRF system
The Hybrid VRF is a two-pipe VRF zoning system designed to use water instead of refrigerant in indoor spaces. The Hybrid VRF system exchanges heat between refrigerant and water using Mitsubishi Electric’s hybrid branch circuit controller (HBC). The HBC enables Hybrid VRF to provide heat recovery for simultaneous heating and cooling while keeping indoor piping refrigerant-free and reducing the system’s overall refrigerant charge. Hybrid VRF is compatible with City Multi N-Generation outdoor units and L-Generation water-source units facilitating a uniform installation approach. Hybrid VRF can be tailored to fit various applications with specific zoning requirements, such as hotels, offices, hospitals, multi-family, schools, dorms and senior living facilities. Each designated indoor unit can be individually controlled by local remote controllers to provide better overall occupant comfort for individual settings.

Available in Upflow and Horizontal configurations, the NPF comes in two sizes of 60,000 Btu/h and 100,000 Btu/h that both boast 97.0% AFUE and meet the stringent requirements of SCAQMD rule 1111 for Ultra-Low NOx performance. The NPF uses Navien’s dual stainless steel heat exchangers to heat water in an isolated compartment out of the airstream which provides sound-reduction and energy efficiency. The heated water is circulated through a hydronic coil which transfers the heat into the airstream for the ultimate in quiet forced-air heating comfort. The sealed combustion design allows the NPF to deliver comfortable heat without significantly impacting humidity levels at one of the quietest sound levels of any furnace on the market. High-efficiency circulator pump
The new EC Motor-Driven, high-efficiency, wet-rotor circulator pump for the residential and commercial HVAC market is designed to improve performance and save energy consumption at the same time. The unit features differential temperature control that adjusts to the system demand to maintain the best heat transfer possible. The four-speed circulator also has three HD modes of operation for proportional control as well as an Auto mode where the pump will automatically adjust to the system resistance to reach its best efficiency point with an LED display, and adjustment buttons for easy set-up. The fluid temperature range for the new Wilo-Star E 21 is 36° F to 230° F, with a maximum operating pressure of 145 PSI (10 Bar). Designed in a cast iron HT 200 pump body, it incorporates an advanced composite PA66+30%GF impeller and ceramic shaft. An optional check valve is also provided for parallel pumping applications.
