Lucid 45-Megapixel Atlas10 Camera with onsemi’s XGS 45000 CMOS Image Sensor
Lucid Vision Labs, Inc. has expanded its Atlas®10 series with the release of a new high resolution model featuring onsemi’s XGS 45000 CMOS global shutter image sensor.
The Atlas10 - 10GigE model features the 45-megapixel (8192 x 5460) onsemi XGS 45000 CMOS sensor, which delivers high-resolution imaging capable of 16 frames per second at 8-bit and 10-bit outputs. With its combination of high resolution, fast readout speed, and low power consumption, this new model provides a significant boost to industrial imaging applications. The Atlas10 camera is equipped with RDMA technology, enabling reliable, low-latency, high-throughput image transfers with negligible CPU load, making it well-suited for demanding industrial applications.

“This RDMA-enabled Atlas10 camera offers a unique combination of high resolution, fast frame rate, and exceptional image quality,” says Rod Barman, Founder and President of Lucid Vision Labs. “By integrating the 45-megapixel onsemi sensor, we’re addressing the market demand for higher resolution sensors to capture larger inspection areas in greater detail, making this camera ideal for applications such as flat panel inspection, aerial surveillance, mapping, and electronics inspection.”
“With the XGS 45000, the 3.2 m pixel size delivers a higher resolution up to 47 full frames per second, or 60 frames per second at 8K video format, while the advanced pixel design ensures low noise performance and high image quality in difficult to see applications like machine vision,” said John Gerard, vice president and general manager, Industrial and Commercial Sensing Division, onsemi. “The combination of our advanced sensor and Lucid’s robust camera design meets the increasing demand for high-performance imaging across a diverse range of industrial applications.”
The Atlas10 10BASE-T camera series is designed for industrial reliability, offering Power over Ethernet (PoE+), robust M12 and M8 connectors, Active Sensor Alignment for optimal optical performance, and an operating temperature range of -20°C to 50°C. The new ATX450N model includes a TFL-II lens mount designed for larger sensor formats.
Additionally, the Atlas10 series is fully GigE Vision and GenICam compliant, supporting 10 Gbps data transfer speeds via standard CAT6 cables up to 25 meters. The Power over Ethernet (PoE+) capability simplifies integration and reduces cost.

CTS Sentinel IX5 Leak Tester
Cincinnati Test Systems announced the Sentinel IX5, a new multifunctional leak test platform for pressure, flow, and vacuum leak testing. The Sentinel IX5 is the first instrument in the fifth generation of the Sentinel family and features an entirely new design; rebuilt from the ground up with a bold new look, all-new touchscreen and streamlined user experience, and many engineering enhancements that elevate leak test performance.

Developed with the expertise of over 40 years of leak testing leadership, the new fifth generation of Sentinel instruments is built with strategic, powerful advancements, designed to make leak testing even more accurate, user-friendly, and efficient on the modern manufacturing line.
“The Sentinel line of leak test instruments has become well-known and respected in the manufacturing industry for delivering the accuracy and repeatability manufacturers rely on to produce the best quality parts. This new, innovative Sentinel re-design is the next step in that evolution, providing the most efficient and effective way to leak test,” said Eric Kersting, General Manager, CTS. “It’s important to us to stay on top of manufacturers’ needs on the modern production floor and continue to enhance our instruments to make their jobs easier.”
The thoughtful engineering of the Sentinel IX5’s completely re-imagined design and user interface delivers new dimensions of leak test accuracy, flexibility, ease-of-use, and value. New features and capabilities include:
- All-new UX/UI: Simple, re-engineered touchscreen user interface, with simplified accessible menus, customizable screen view options, real-time visualized data, and more.
- Industry-first visual Test Sequence Creator: Easily tap, build, and visualize all steps in test sequences, preview and sequence a test before running it, and more.
- Broadest range of leak test methods: Choose from 9 different test methods and combine multiple methods on one instrument.
- Better, faster leak test performance: Improved resolution and accuracy for shorter cycle times, automatically adjust for changes in temperature and pressure, advanced pressure control, and more.
- Unmatched value: Flexible instrument can be used for every common air leak test method; with its enhanced I/O control, the instrument can replace a PLC to control test operations, and more.
“The Sentinel IX5 was designed with manufacturers in mind, delivering a streamlined user experience with enhanced precision, performance, and flexibility,” said Thomas Beischel, Director of Standard Product, CTS. “We embarked on intensive research with our users to make this new design simple and intuitive to use. With the Sentinel IX5, it’s now easier than ever to setup, operate, and improve your leak tests.”

Evident DSX2000 Digital Microscope
Evident announced the launch of its DSX2000 fully motorized digital microscope designed to simplify operations and boost productivity in material analysis and inspection workflows. An automated and integrated system for imaging, measurement, analysis and reporting, the advanced microscope can be easily operated by users of all skill levels for fast, precise results and high-quality macro to micro imaging at resolutions beyond 4K.

An all-in-one microscopy solution, the DSX2000 system streamlines work for researchers, failure analysis engineers and QC lab professionals. Objectives can be switched automatically via the motorized zoom head and revolving nosepiece. Seven different observation methods are available at the click of a button, enabling users to quickly find optimal viewing conditions. Simplifying operations further, the best image function identifies the best imaging mode for revealing sample details with one click. Users can also take advantage of the powerful new shaded relief method, which reveals ultra-fine, hard-to-see defects in real time. Observation conditions for captured images are automatically saved for easy recall, enabling consistency and repeatability across samples.
Tasks are made even simpler when the system is paired with Evident’s intuitive PRECiV™ image analysis software. The software speeds up inspections with smart tools such as EZ mode and Live AI. In EZ mode, supervisors can create custom workflows for operators and limit available buttons for ease of use. Any operator can start working with minimal training while reducing the potential for errors. Live AI is another powerful tool for simplifying workflows. The Live AI can be trained in a short time to instantly reveal hidden details and highlight key features on live images with no need for additional processing. This facilitates AI-assisted decision-making, freeing up experts from the need to double-check images. The AI automates repetitive tasks, such as live measurements and feature detection, to improve productivity and minimize operator variability.
The DSX2000 digital microscope produces exceptional high-resolution images that meet the exacting demands of quality control, failure analysis and R&D. Its wide magnification range of 26X to 7,300X using optical zoom makes it easy to capture precise macro and micro images with one system to simplify inspections. It supports unlimited* image size with seamless stitching that quickly creates large macro images, enabling the analysis of large samples in less time.
