NanoTech Materials, Inc., a provider of climate-resilient materials, announced a collaboration with Cool Roof Coating Systems, LLC, a subsidiary of Tesson Roofing in the Grand Canyon State, to combat high indoor temperatures in the all-consuming heat that is summer in Arizona.

In a news release outlining the partnership, Cool Roof Coating Systems will provide NanoTech its heat-resistant coating to roof restoration customers in Arizona; NanoTech Cool Roof Coat has positioned itself as an alternative to capital-intensive roof replacement.

Based on the heat-rejection properties of the NanoTech Insulative Ceramic Particle, the company says its Cool Roof Coat product cuts indoor temperatures by 25-30 degrees Fahrenheit, slashing carbon emissions by 76 tons yearly in a 25,000-square-foot building. NanoTech added that its Cool Roof Coat provides waterproofing and resistance to hail and wind, delivering up to 96% cool roof performance after 10 years.

"Put simply, the heat-rejection performance of NanoTech Cool Roof Coat is so compelling that Tesson decided to form an Arizona-based company to tackle one of the hottest markets in the U.S. directly," said Brett Tesson, president at Cool Roof Coating Systems.

The joint endeavor also aims to reduce carbon emissions by “transforming traditional roofs into environmentally responsible and energy-efficient surfaces,” contributing to a greener future.

"[T]he team at Tesson is among the very best in the roof restoration market, which made a joint initiative in the extreme heat and intense Arizona sun a natural fit," said Mike Francis, CEO and founder at NanoTech Materials, Inc.

"As a direct-to-installer product, we [collaborate] with highly qualified contractors [and] I am delighted at the founding of Cool Roof Coating Systems to bring a new level of sustainability to Arizona,” Francis added. “Our vision at NanoTech is to transform sustainability in the built environment, starting with one of the biggest energy drains and sources of carbon emissions, one roof at a time."

EagleView, a leader in geospatial technology, and RapidSOS, an intelligent safety platform, announced an integration of EagleView's high-resolution orthogonal imagery into RapidSOS Premium, securely linking over 500 million devices to more than 16,000 first responder and 9-1-1 agencies.

The partnership incorporates EagleView technology, including aerial imagery, software and analytics, into RapidSOSi’s safety platform, which the companies say enhances the 9-1-1 response system by consolidating critical data such as real-time location, local GIS data, and caller profiles into a single, comprehensive mapping solution.

"Our collaboration is dedicated to one crucial goal: keeping field responders safe and saving lives," said Joe Oddi, director of Partner Strategies at EagleView. "By integrating EagleView imagery with RapidSOS Premium, we help public safety professionals respond most accurately and efficiently to citizens in distress.”

Both companies said the EagleView integration will enable RapidSOS users to access high-resolution aerial imagery directly in their workflow, offering unparalleled insights into emergency locations and streamlining decision-making for telecommunicators and field responders.

"Through this alliance with EagleView, telecommunicators can provide more accurate intelligence and directions to support their field responders," said Karin Marquez, chief public safety brand officer at RapidSOS.

“With high-resolution aerial imagery in RapidSOS, public safety officials can make faster, smarter, and safer decisions to aid those in the field,” Marquez added.
