From an Oregon farmhouse kitchen to millions of family dinner tables, Reser’s Fine Foods is celebrating a 75-year legacy of being a part of summer cookouts and holiday celebrations.

R&FF’s 2025 Processor of the Year, the company is now thelargest family-owned prepared foods manufacturer in the U.S.

Their products are found in over 25,000 locations nationwide and – like their slogan says – have likely been a part of some of your family’s “good times.”

Our November cover story celebrates Reser’s with a first-hand look at one of their newest – and most-valued facilities – in Pasco, Washington. I was honored to tour the 300,000+-square-foot manufacturing facility last month and learned how Reser’s and its dedicated employees create some of America’s favorite refrigerated side dishes.

You can learn more from the story.

Also in the November issue: two Cold Chain Operations columns!

One column tackles predictive modeling for both food safety and product innovation. The other Cold Chain Operations column looks at packaging efficiencies in frozen French fries.

And, speaking of efficiency, this issue includes a wrap up of some of the year’s biggest headlines in cold chain sustainability.

Plus, just in time for holiday entertaining, a look at some of the newest releases in cold dips, dressings & condiments.

And, don’t forget, you can get the latest in our weekly Newsletter and online at RFFmag.com.
