iGUIDE INNOVATES AND OPTIMIZES THE WAY RESTORATION CONTRACTORS COLLECT PROPERTY MEASUREMENT DATA
Quickly approaching a milestone 10-year anniversary, Planitar Inc. was founded in 2013 by Alex Likholyot and Kevin J. Klages in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada.
Planitar Inc. is the maker of iGUIDE, a proprietary camera and software platform designed to capture and deliver immersive 3D virtual tours and extensive property data across numerous industries. Planitar has creat-ed exciting hardware and cloud-based SaaS technology designed to map interior spaces in the insurance, residential, and commercial real estate markets. It combines advanced laser measurements, panoramic photography, and virtual navigation tools together into the fastest space mapping, visualization, and documentation solution on the market.
iGUIDE - interactive property guide - is a web application and data set that integrates floor plans, on-screen measurements, and 360° imag-es to help people visualize and dimensionally measure spaces without needing to physically visit a property. iGUIDE has captured the largest market share of 3D tours in Canada and its growth is accelerating with positive demand trends for accurate floor plans, precise measurements, and enhanced property information.
With humble beginnings dating back nearly a decade, iGUIDE has come a long way since the days of its IMS-4 and IMS-5 products. Un-veiling their new iGUIDE PLANIX camera and Radix in 2021, iGUIDE has made huge leaps and bounds in recent years.
“Planitar has always aimed to provide leading-edge technolo-gy solutions when it comes to mapping property interiors,” said Alexander Likholyot, CEO and Co-founder of Planitar Inc. “This next generation system has a much longer measurement range, scans faster, is lighter and easier to use than ever before.”
By integrating floor plans and visual data, iGUIDE provides an intuitive and practical way to digitally navigate and explore built environments. Outside the Residential Real Estate space, iGUIDE also empowers Com-mercial Real Estate, Facility Management and Insurance & Restoration Professionals to save time and cut costs by quickly documenting and sharing accurate measurements, floor plans, and images.
“[We] designed Radix specifically for insurance and restoration professionals to capture and share comprehensive property data for use in estimating the cost of damages in a very cost-effective way,” says Michael Vervena, VP of Sales & Marketing at Planitar. “Within minutes, you can document a property loss, upload the data from your phone, and share the images and measurements instantly with your estimator.”
In 2022, Planitar opened their new headquarters within the ‘Silicone Valley of the North’ in Waterloo, Ontario. This new office environment focused on employee safety, data privacy and secure IT infrastructure. The new headquarters was made to take Planitar to the next stratosphere and was, in part, driven by the company’s exceptional expansion over the last few years.
“We are really excited to take this next step that is [a] testament to our company’s growth. It is also a great opportunity to really focus on key work culture values we hold at iGUIDE, especially after navigating and adapting an unprecedented growth over the past two years. We firmly believe in investing in our customers’ growth and secure data privacy for organizations of all sizes,” - Michael Vervena VP of Sales & Marketing.
With their growing line of products and services like iGUIDE analyt-ics and the virtual showing feature, Planitar is perfectly positioned to continue their growth into 2023 and beyond. As the world collectively pivots to more and more digital platforms and remote accommodations, Planitar will look to build off of their ongoing success with more new product and services. iGUDE will aim to better serve the global commu-nity with a more accessible digital experience largely designed with the future in mind.
