How long have you been in the PHCP-PVF industry?

WF: Seven years.

What drew you into the industry?

WF: I was introduced to the industry by my father at a young age and grew up around it. While in college, I interned with a few rep agencies in the industry and got a taste of the business and what I might want to do post-graduation. I really enjoyed learning about the technology and experiencing the relationship aspect of this business. Over the past three years, I have been fortunate to work for Bradford White Corp. Our company culture is driven by a customer-centric approach, and we all strive to deliver the best products and service to support their needs. These ideals along with a family-oriented environment has solidified my decision to continue my career in this industry and with Bradford White.

What is the most rewarding aspect of working in the industry?

WF: Being able to work with incredible partners, whether it be our reps, wholesale partners or professional installers. Each day I have the opportunity to share my knowledge with industry professionals while providing high-level service and solutions to support our customer needs.

What is one thing you wish more people knew/understood about the PHCP-PVF industry?

WF: This a rapidly growing industry that is essential to the health and well-being of communities. As technology evolves, the need for trained professionals is important, and there is unlimited opportunity for work and growth. We need to build up and support the next generation of tradespeople.

What has been the proudest moment in your career so far?

WF: The day I was offered the opportunity to be a part of the Bradford White team. Bradford White’s commitment to the professional contractor and the skilled trades, manufacturing and distribution makes coming to work every day exciting and gratifying.

What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

WF: I was a Division I lacrosse player at Siena College. I attribute a lot of my success in the industry to my time as an athlete. It opened doors for me and gave me the tools I needed to perform at a high level when I joined the workforce.

Why he was chosen as a Next Gen All Star Top 20 Under 40 winner:

“Weston is an up-and-coming next gen in the hydronic industry. He started his career following four years of college lacrosse at Sienna, working at a manufacturers rep in Richmond, Virginia. There he sold many lines but excelled in hydronics, including Bosch Buderus. Next, he accepted a regional sales manager role at Triangle Tube for the mid-Atlantic. Three years ago, he joined Bradford White as a district sales manager where he worked to put a brand known for its water heaters on the map for hydronics. Weston continues to excel in his relationships and product knowledge and is an incredible asset to both Bradford White and the industry,” says Danielle Laird, national accounts manager at Bradford White.
